Words from Filmmaker, Fagner Pereira:

“I have been filming skateboarding since 2003, I’ve always dreamed of making a full skateboard movie.
Reaching the most unique spots while traveling, I decided to produce my first full length video.
In the end of 2012, combining my passion for traveling and skateboarding, I dedicated the time to film 5 skaters: Bruno Mendes, Gabriel Loureiro, Rafael Alves, Hudson Alves and William Damascena. Pertiment means, be persistent, never give up on your goals, making it through even when you are not supported. The dedication for this project goes beyond anything ever existed in our life, part of the travel includes 52 days in a car, doing a road trip from Sweden to Barcelona, more than 4.000 km, 7 different countries, 11 different cities, sleeping alongside roads or at friends’ houses, living extremely on our own, in different environments. The video consists in 5 chapters and 1 friends’ part. The Pertiment Project, without any financial support, is an independent production helped by friends and family. You will see a skateboard movie that has a message to all skaters out there, to keep chasing their dreams and make it happen with or without support from companies that has nothing to do with skateboard, but , unfortunately is taking advantage of it! Our intention on this production is, inspire others to keep living their dream. Remembering that in this life what we wish to do is share more moments like this and more time skateboarding fully happy.”
